DoorKing’s breakaway hardware kit for the Model 1601 is the perfect solution to reduce maintenance and replacement arm costs by allowing the arm to swing out of the way in the event that a vehicle fails to stop at a lowered arm. The system is easily reset by simply snapping the arm back into place. The breakaway kit is designed for aluminum arms only and can be set to breakaway from either side of the cabinet.

The breakaway hardware kit can be used in conjunction with the DKS aluminum lighted barrier arm. Lighted arms are a great way to enhance safety and increase visibility.
