LiftMaster has received a small number of field reports stating the lower gear reducer on the model CSW24V leaked a minimal amount of oil. They have worked with their supplier to identify the cause of the leak and have determined that a low number of reducers were filled with an excess amount of oil.

When this condition occurs and the operator is run continuously, a small amount of oil may leak out through the vent plug. If you encounter a CSW24V with a lower gear reducer that is leaking oil, a replacement Gear Reducer Service Kit (K32-35814), filled to specification, is available for immediate shipment.
