DoorKing has launced it’s own ultra-high frequency (UHF), long-range proximity card read capable of reading tags up to 25′. It uses passive card technology, which means no batteries in your key cards to replace. The long-range reader kit includes the reader, and a control board housed in a outdoor rated enclosure. The system outputs a 26-bit wiegand signal to nearly any access controller. The long-range reader control board has dials and switches that allow you to set the card reader range, select between “Timing” or “Trigger” mode, and setup a time delay between card reads to avoid double reads.

More can be found in the updated DoorKing Proximity Card Reader cutsheet, or in the short install manual.
