DoorKing’s 1601-216 Aluminum Barrier Arm that included yellow and black striping has been made obsolete. To increase driver awareness, DoorKing will now only offer aluminum barrier arms that have an MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) compliant red and white stripe pattern. This red and white stripe is made of highly-reflective 3M sheeting that is visible in low-light conditions and from greater distances than the black and yellow stripe.
